Since 2008, our Center has been organizing the “Citywide Organic Day,” which has received enthusiastic response from all sectors of society and has become an annual flagship event in the organic industry. The event is held every March at Chater Road in Central, bringing together various organic stakeholders (including farmers and fishermen, retailers, organic movement supporters, and the general public) to share the current state of Hong Kong’s organic development and encourage citizens to cherish and continue supporting the sustainable development of organic agriculture and fisheries. The event features over a hundred organic product booths and workshops, along with an organic low-carbon breakfast that allows participants to actively support an organic green lifestyle. To date, the event has attracted over 400,000 participants cumulatively.
