Due to lack of knowledge of organic farmed aquaculture, and few in numbers of retail outlets, the market share of local organic aquaculture products is comparative low.
To promote local organic farmed aquaculture, we set up marketing and promotional booths at farmers’ markets, shopping malls and supermarkets regularly.
Starting from September 2017, we set up booths at Mei Foo and Tai Po farmers’ markets to promote the organic farmed aquaculture, these locations also serve as new sales channels for fish farmers to showcase organic aquaculture products such as local farmed organic Jade Perch and frozen organic Tilapia fillet (frozen) other than traditional wet markets or organic food retailers.
